HAMMOND, Ind. --A UPS semi-truck driver lost control, drove off the road and got wedged between two sections of the Indiana toll road.
His vehicle dangled off a bridge, over the Calumet River for hours, but the driver managed to get out of the cab, onto a concrete pillar, where he was rescued.
He was taken to a hospital with no serious injuries, and divers went in the water to help secure the empty truck in the water, so it could be hauled up onto the roadway, by a giant crane.
The toll road is back open now.
