The Dorchester just released the first photos of its Promenade dining area, part of the hotel's most extensive renovation since 1989.

Just in time for the holiday season, the legendary hotel, a true London institution dating back to 1931, unveiled the transformation of its reimagined restaurant along with the addition of the new Artists' Bar, by interior designer Pierre-Yves Rochon.

Located on the lobby level of the property, the redesigned space is inspired by the British countryside, invoked by a nature-inspired color palette and a collection of contemporary artworks celebrating the beauty of English gardens. Interior highlights include sophisticated oak tables framed by blue sofas and chairs in deep pink, striking black marble columns, and a beautiful molded ceiling in white and soft sage green.

The new, modern all-day menu, curated by the hotel's culinary director Martyn Nail, will consist of indulgent breakfast offerings such as lobster casserole, healthy lunch options, and the property's signature afternoon tea service. Evening fare will include quail egg tartlets and seasonal British-caught seafood among other local fare.

The open-plan Promenade is also the home of the Artists' Bar, a lavish new hangout serving handcrafted cocktails and Champagne paired with a selection of fresh seafood, sashimi, and sushi. The space is anchored by Liberace's fully restored mirrored piano, accented with an elegant Lalique crystal chandelier. The walls are lined with works by contemporary artists celebrating London and The Dorchester's place in it. The six signature cocktails on the menu are named after each of the pieces and use ingredients that influenced the artists.

Then, in December 2021 , it announced a property-wide renovation led by Pierre-Yves Rochon and Martin Brudnizki. The hotel will unveil the redesign of its rooms and suites in March 2023. The property's legendary bar and cake and flowers boutique are also under construction. The Dorchester has remained open during the renovation, and you can make a reservation here.
