Ohio House unanimously passes amendment that mandates 5-year sentence for vehicular manslaughter of firefighters

As a retired paramedic firefighter myself and having way too many close calls. Why not protect those that provide these services by slowing down traffic and actually closing down the highway, yes its inconvenient and delays may happen but usually it's less than half an hour to remove an injured victim. I have lost a police officer arresting a drunk driver and was hit by another drunk driver and killed. Another EMS friend killed. Driving drunk isn't an accident and we need to address it as such.

A drunk driver, is a murderer looking for a victim. This is not unintentional, this is premeditated and should carry a longer sentence.

the one thing I truly despise about the world is the value people put over other lives. NO ONE and I mean absolutely NO ONES life is more valuable than the someone else's life no matter how they choose to live their life..... PERIOD
