Young & Restless Tapped Out on November Sweeps but Cheating Drama Lies Ahead — Plus, First Look Photos of Jeremy Stark in Genoa City

We’ve written before about how The Young and the Restless desperately needs some have-nots on the canvas. (Missed it? Here’s the story.) When everybody in Genoa City is filthy rich, to what is any character aspiring? Spoiler alert: nothing. We just get nonstop job swaps and mergers and takeovers, none of which ever feel like they are impactful. “Wealthy guy fired at company No. 1 goes to work at company No. 2. Still wealthy. Big whoop.”

On one hand, we get it. On the other… well, with the other hand, we facepalm. Look, we can understand why The Young and the Restless would have Victor anxious to return Adam to the Newman Enterprises. It’s a family business, and he’s family. But on a deeper level, it just doesn’t track. The former Christian Miller built himself up from nothing and respects others who do the same. So his obsession with putting Adam back behind a Newman desk suggests that he doesn’t think that he can succeed on his own.

But that doesn’t mean Michael should look for a new love!. When it comes to General Hospital, we’ve learned that you should never say never. As in “Oh, they’d never kill Brando and Sasha’s baby.” Or “Oh, they killed Sasha’s baby… surely they wouldn’t kill her husband, too!”

At the hospital, Jordan and Stella go into an office to privately talk about the genealogy tests. Stella knows Jordan was oddly interested in her own DNA test, which had a glitch, and indicated she had a relative in town. Stella asks if she’s still thinking she has a secret love child in Port Charles. Suddenly Stella realizes Jordan suspects someone else had a secret child. Jordan explains she and TJ found it odd she had a match that suddenly disappeared. Jordan explains that could only happen according to the company if the other person withdrew their DNA from the service. Stella stammers that Trina told her she deleted her account and asks if Jordan is telling her that she thinks Curtis and Portia are related.

In her office, Taylor tells Ridge by phone that situation with Bill and Sheila is under control.
