It ain’t easy being Sally Spectra. Granted, the beautiful redhead who made her way from The Bold and the Beautiful to The Young and the Restless, can sometimes be her own worst enemy. But as portrayer Courtney Hope explains, Sally has grown a lot since first viewers met her.

The celebration continues for The Young and the Restless vet Tracey E. Bregman, who on Wednesday, January 25, marked 40 years playing Lauren Fenmore on the CBS soap. Her co-star, Christian LeBlanc, who happens to play her character’s onscreen husband Michael, recently presented the actress with something very special… a Daytime Emmy Award. But it wasn’t just any Daytime Emmy Award…

You know us… any reason for a party. (There will be wine, right?) So obviously, we were all-in on the idea of a fete to celebrate the awesomeness that is Young & Restless’ Lauren Fenmore Baldwin. We knew there would be flashbacks galore and a chance to marvel at the hairdos she and portrayer Tracey E. Bregman sported over the years.

So glam! Eileen Davidson marveled, “It’s not like any other ever,” as Sharon Case gushed, “Wow!”. It’s been a terrific 50th anniversary year for Young & Restless, which has delighted fans with the return of past stars such as Michael Damien (Danny) and Michael Graziadei (Daniel) as well as some breathtaking drama. But the icing on the cake of any such milestone is when the cast gathers together to celebrate and commemorate the occasion with a photo.

At Sonny’s place, Dex tells his boss about the night the hook attacked Joss and Britt, and his involvement. Sonny asks why he’s just hearing about this now. Dex explains he knew he and Nina were focused on Willow, so he delayed telling him. After explaining everything, except for sleeping with Joss, Sonny asks him to swear to him that he’s telling him everything.

As tensions flare between Bold & Beautiful nemeses, the cast finds a way to ‘keep their cool’. Bold & Beautiful’s Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) recently put her nemesis, Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown), on notice that she wouldn’t stop until she was back behind bars where she belongs. Sheila, of course, has no intention of going back to prison now that she’s landed the cushy role of mega-rich Dollar Bill Spencer’s significant other — so, it’s safe to say there’s tension… and there’s going to be a lot more of it.

Fans of The Bold and the Beautiful are kind of used to watching with a look of stunned disbelief. The show has, after all, had Thomas mack on a mannequin, killed and resurrected both Finn and Li in a matter of weeks, allowed Ridge to pull a wife-swap on the advice of a pinecone, paired Bill with Sheila (?!?) and gave the madwoman a Get Out of Jail Free card because of… reasons.

This blended family sure does know how to have fun. The daytime stars received the “sweetest” gift. If you were on Twitter the past week, then you probably saw these promo photos of Sarah Jessica Parker and John Corbett for the second season And Just Like That… (and probably had some strong feelings about it!)
