Another successful Christmas shopping event is in the books for Goodwill of Southern Nevada.
The donation center hosted its second annual Christmas shopping spree event on Friday, December 1, at their Stephanie retail store in Las Vegas.
About 75 children among local nonprofits, Hopelink of Southern Nevada and Children's Advocacy Alliance, were invited to the event, receiving $100 Goodwill gift cards to shop throughout the store.
The children were greeted by Santa Claus and cheered by falling snow as they entered the store to begin their holiday shopping, accompanied by their parents and guardians.

Goodwill says the event is meant to bring together children and families in need while also building community partnerships as they continue hosting events like these.
The store also hosts a similar 'Christmas in July' event to bring some mid-summer cheer to families across the valley.
