Take in the lights and sights of the Canadian Pacific Holiday Train for one night only at Union Station in Kansas City, Missouri.The CP Holiday Train entertains thousands of people across North America every year, and works to raise money for area food banks.VIDEO ABOVE: See the train's stop in Wisconsin in 2019The CP Holiday Train will roll into Union Station at 6:45 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 4, and will depart shortly after the special show ends. A special celebration is scheduled before the train's arrival starting at 6 p.m. Meet Kansas City Current women's soccer players Alex Loera, Addisyn Merrick, Cassie Miller, Hailie Mace and Mallory Weber. And, enjoy a free performance from Kansas City's own "The Snow Globes" as you await the arrival of the CP Holiday Train. While the train is stopped in Kansas City, you can listen to a performance by Lindsay Eli and JoJo Mason, and check out the train's locomotive and 14 rail cars — decked out in thousands of LED lights. Willy Porter will perform on a stage that opens from the side of the train's boxcar. That performance is scheduled to run from 7 to 7:45 p.m.The single-night event is free to see, however, attendees are asked to bring money or a heart-healthy donation for a local food bank.
