IT HAPPENED ON FOURTH STREET...JUST AFTER MIDNIGHT. EVERYBODY IN THE TRAILER WAS ABLE TO EVACUATE SAFELY. THE DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC SAFETY FIRE AND EXPLOSION INVESTIGATION UNIT IS STILL DETERMINING THE ORIGIN AND CAUSE OF THE FIRE. THE AMERICAN RED CROSS IS HELPING THE HOMEOWNER... Vermont State Police are investigating a house fire in Morristown that caused significant damage to the home.The Morrisville Fire Department said the fire broke out around 12:14 a.m. on Friday on Fourth Street. When crews arrived at the scene, they found a single-wide trailer completely engulfed in flames.All of the occupants in the home were able to get out safely, and no injuries were reported.The cause of the fire is still unknown, but the home sustained heavy damage due to the incident. The American Red Cross is assisting the homeowner who was displaced.Anyone with additional information is asked to contact the Williston barracks at 802-878-7111.
