Bengals star wide receiver Ja'Marr Chase will play on Sunday against the Chiefs. He's missed four games with a hip injury.

"I hate to use the words for sure, but I'm optimistic," head coach Zac Taylor said. "He's on track. He's practicing. We'll see where it goes on Sunday."

It's unclear if Chase will be on a snap count, but he will play. The star receiver did more in practice this week than he did last week, which bodes well for his chances of handling a full workload.

Meanwhile, Joe Mixon is still in concussion protocol.

"Mixon's still in protocol, so we'll see where it goes with that one."

The star running back was able to practice in a limited capacity this week, but has to clear protocol before he plays in a game.
