Two teens were arrested in connection to an armed robbery that happened on Nov. 30th in Brooklyn, according to the Anne Arundel County Police Department.
Police said the robbery happened around 4:30 p.m. in the 300 block of Church Street.
The victim stated he was walking towards his residence when he was approached by what he believed was two juvenile boys, with one pointing a gun at him, police said.
The minors demanded the victim's property, police said, and once they received the items, they fled from the scene.
On Thursday, Dec. 1st, police said detectives were able to identify a 16-year-old boy as one of the suspects.
Through identifying the boy, police said they were then able to make a connection to the second suspect, his 16-year-old sister.
Police said the girl was arrested in a business robbery where a handgun was recovered on Nov. 30th.
Detectives conducted a search warrant on the residence where both of the teens live and found evidence related to the citizen robbery.
Police said both 16-year-old's were charged accordingly.
