BALTIMORE (WBFF) —
The Baltimore City Fire Department battled a fire at a rowhome in southwest Baltimore, according to the Baltimore City fire union.

According to their Tweets, the fire broke out about 8 a.m. in the 300 block of South Bruce Street.
The fire union said there was fire showing from two two-story rowhomes and that additional fire personnel was called in to help.
A report on the Citizen app indicates that the home may have been vacant.
According to data from Baltimore City, there are 17 rowhomes along the 300 block of South Bruce Street. Half of them are vacant, and some of the vacancies date back to 2006, according to the city's database.
Several streets were closed while firefighters put out the fire.
