>> WHERE THE NEWS COMES FIRST, THIS IS KCRA 3 NEWS AT 4:00. BRITTANY: GOOD MORNING. IT’S FRIDAY, DECEMBER 2, I’M BRITTANY HOPE, IN FOR TEO TORRES THIS MORNING. HERE ARE THE BIG STORIES WE’RE FOLLOWING FOR YOU TODAY. YOLO COUNTY, THE CITY OF DAVIS, AND U.C. DAVIS, ARE CREATING A FRAMEWORK, TO COMBAT RECENT HATE INCIDENTS. THE INITIATIVE IS CALLED HATE-FREE TOGETHER. COMMUNITY WORKSHOPS WILL BE HELD FOR THE PUBLIC TO SHARE THE CHANGE THEY WOULD LIKE TO SEE. AND HOW TO PUT THOSE PLANS IN TO ACTION. THE JOINT EFFORT WILL BEGIN NEXT YEAR. PROTECTED BIKE LANES ARE COMING TO MIDTOWN AND DOWNTOWN SACRAMENTO. THE CITY COUNCIL APPROVED THE PLANS AT THEIR MEETING THIS WEEK TO CREATE A NETWORK OF BIKE LANES THAT WILL LINK EXISTING LANES, AND EXTEND THEM ON P, Q, AND TENTH STREETS. PLUS, NINTH AND I STREETS, WILL RECEIVE NEW BIKE LANES. WE COULD SEE MORE RAIN THIS WEEKEND AS THOUSANDS OF PEOPLE RACE IN THE CALIFORNIA INTERNATIONAL MARATHON. THE COURSE TEAM WENT OUT IN THE WET WEATHER YESTERDAY, TO PREPARE FOR ABOUT 10,000 RUNNERS COMING TO THE SACRAMENTO REGION. THIS IS SOME VIDEO FROM LAST YEAR. TEMPERATURES ARE COLD. 33 AT THE EXECUTIVE AIRPORT. 29 FAIRFIELD. 35 STOCKTON. BELOW FREEZING MODESTO. SINGLE DIGITS FOR TRUCKEE AND LAKE TAHOE. TEMPERATURES ARE DOWN BY 27 TO 26 DEGREES IN THE MOUNTAINS AND IN THE VALLEY, 14 DEGREES TO 20 DEGREES COOLER THAN YESTERDAY. THE SATELLITE IMAGERY ARE LOOKING FOR, AREAS OF BLUE IS WHERE WE HAVE LOW CLOUD COVER AND FOG THROUGH THE FOOTHILLS, SUTTER COUNTY, AND AS YOU WORK YOUR WAY SOUTH, WE ARE SEEING FOG IN MERCED COUNTY, DOWN TO ONE QUARTER OF A MILE VISIBILITY.
