Angle Parking

There is a sign on College Street that reads “Back in Parking Only – Cars Only.” The angle parking experiment on College Street in Athens is getting a few more necessary adjustments. When big pickup trucks used these spaces, many times the truck would stick out in the road too far. Now trucks are prohibited. When a car pulled in front first into the space, it was very difficult to see oncoming traffic as they pulled out of their space. Now there is “back in parking only”. Not everyone obeys these new rules, but it’s slowly catching on.
