While it’s never over until it’s over, given Alabama’s ranking of sixth in the College Football Playoff rankings, and the fact the Crimson Tide won’t play another game, it looks almost impossible for the Crimson Tide to make the CFP. That hasn’t stopped Terrion Arnold from making a plea to the selection committee.

In a TikTok video filmed within the Alabama facilities, Terrion Arnold sang that he and the Alabama team have a point to prove once they’re in the CFP.

You can watch the video, here:

“Can y’all please let us in?” Terrion Arnold asked in an auto-tuned voice. “Cause I’ve got a point to prove.”

Alabama is going to need help if it wants to get into the College Football Playoff this season. Neither the Crimson Tide nor the Ohio State Buckeyes have a game this Saturday. Since the Buckeyes are currently ahead of the Crimson Tide, it’s going to be almost impossible to jump them. So, instead, both teams would likely need to have USC and TCU lose while getting help from the CFP selection committee.

At Noon eastern time on Sunday, the CFP selection committee will make its final decision. Whether or not they listen to Terrion Arnold’s plea remains to be seen.

Paul Finebaum on what the penultimate rankings mean for Alabama

College football analyst Paul Finebaum had some bad news for Alabama fans when looking at the penultimate CFP rankings. The Crimson Tide are officially a long shot.

“Bama is done, and that’s hard to swallow if you’re a Nick Saban fan and knew that this team coming in was perhaps his best in many, many years, with the Heisman Trophy winner coming in and maybe the best defensive player, but it has gone all wrong for Alabama,” explained Finebaum.

“They lost that game at Tennessee. They came back and lost a few weeks later on a two-point conversion against LSU. Their biggest problem, they don’t have any good wins, and I think the committee saw that last night.”
