All three Williamsburg-James City County high school theater companies will be competing in the Virginia High School League State Theatre Championship on Saturday in Charlottesville.

Each theater group will perform one-act plays.

Jamestown High School will perform “The Seven Loves of Audrey Munson: A (Mostly) True Story,” an original play written by Jamestown High School theater director J. Harvey Stone. The play won an award for best original piece at the Virginia Theatre Association conference in October, and the cast won a Best Ensemble Award.
