Hollyoaks spoilers follow.
Hollyoaks has revisited Sylver McQueen's death as part of the latest revelation about sinister Bobby Costello.
Back in January, Bobby essentially let his stepfather die following the explosion at Marnie Nightingale's patisserie after learning Sylver planned to leave the family.
Since that time, Mercedes McQueen has been trying to keep her son under control as he showed frightening glimpses of the same sinister temperament as his grandfather Silas.
Goldie McQueen has been trying to prove Bobby's dark side poses a threat to the family, and in Thursday's (December 1) first-look episode, Mercedes actually agreed to help her look for evidence.

However, Mercedes was only joining the crusade in hopes of proving Goldie wrong and showing that Bobby isn't capable of killing.
It wasn't long before their search turned up shocking evidence though, as they discovered Bobby had been keeping Silas's Kill List. He also kept a drawing of himself behind Sylver with Xs over his stepfather's eyes.
Mercedes was determined to get rid of the evidence in spite of Goldie's insistence that the drawing is proof Bobby had something to do with Sylver's death.
When Nana McQueen interrupted the fight between Goldie and Mercedes, she was horrified to see what Bobby is capable of.

With her relatives at odds, Nana insisted they should burn the book and handle the situation within the family because of their code against dealing with the cops.
Little did they know that Goldie later switched out the book and handed it over to Verity Hutchinson as evidence against Bobby.
How will Mercedes react to this betrayal?
