The Spotify end-of-year data reveals Eminem's new accomplishments.
Two of Marshall's albums are among the top ten most listened hip hop albums on Spotify in 2022. In actuality, "The Eminem Show" is the third most streamed album of the year.
The album that recently marked its 20th anniversary is the third most streamed hip hop album on the platform. The second album is likewise considered a classic; "The Marshall Mathers LP" is ranked eighth. Overall, Drake (3 albums), Kendrick Lamar (2 albums), and Eminem dominate the Top 10. (2 albums). Tyler, The Creator, Gunna, and Future occupy the last three positions.
Two of the 10 most streamed albums this year were released in the pre-streaming period by the rapper, who recently celebrated his 50th birthday and was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in the same year.
That is the very definition of longevity.
