Students hoping to succeed in the arts have a new support system in Metuchen's Bowery Art Collective.

The new outlet is part of what's also known as Integrated Educational Services, a group that provides academic support like SAT prep.

Employees there say that the idea began when students began showing up for their academic studies with stacks of beautiful artwork under their arms.

Now, student art is not only on display but there are receptions and other educational opportunities for local talent.
