A man was shot and two other people, including a baby, were injured in a crash in the Milo-Grogan neighborhood on Thursday.
Police were called to the area of East 2nd Avenue just before 6 p.m. on a report of a person shot.
Officers arrived and found a vehicle that had crashed into a utility pole.
According to police, the driver, a 22-year-old man, was suffering from a gunshot wound to his upper body.
A 22-year-old woman and a 1-year-old girl were also in the car. Police said they weren't shot but injured from the accident.
The man was taken to the hospital in serious condition but was later upgraded to stabilized. The woman and baby were also taken to other hospitals in stable condition.
Police learned that while the man was driving, another vehicle sped up around him and began firing shots into the vehicle. The man was struck which caused him to crash into the utility pole.
The suspect was last seen driving west on East 2nd Avenue.
The incident remains under investigation.
