When the Steelers took the practice field yesterday in preparation for Sunday’s game against the Falcons, the team didn’t know if more players were on the field or in the medical room.
Only three players on the initial report were full practice participants: wide receiver Miles Boykin, running back Jaylen Warren and safety Minkah Fitzpatrick.
Five players did not practice. Defensive lineman Larry Ogunjobi is dealing with an injury to his toe. Myles Jack suffered a setback with a knee injury. Ahkello Witherspoon is still dealing with a hamstring, and Najee Harris an oblique. Cam Hayward had the day off on a coach’s decision and Isaiahh Loudermilk was absent with a personal matter.
The team will hope for more participants this afternoon.

Week 13 kicked off last night with the Buffalo Bills beating the New England Patriots, 24-10, in Thursday Night Football.
Police in Florida are issuing an arrest warrant for former NFL wide receiver Antonio Brown. The warrant put out by police in Tampa cites a misdemeanor battery charge stemming from an incident that happened earlier this week. Brown allegedly was in a stand-off with police last night, as he refused to come out of his home and face officers. No word on the fallout from the stand-off.
