Mizzou volleyball’s Dixon, Cox hit the transfer portal

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

According to a running list of college volleyball transfers on Twitter, Mizzou outside hitters Anna Dixon and Kaylee Cox have entered the transfer portal.

This comes just four days after Mizzou parted ways with head coach Josh Taylor after the team finished 9-19 last season, which was last in the SEC.

As a senior, Dixon will enter the portal with one year of eligibility remaining. She spent the past three seasons at Mizzou, reaching more than 1,000 career kills and 148 blocks.

Dixon also received many honors for her time with the Tigers, including making the 2022 USA Volleyball Collegiate National Team and the 2020 All-SEC team.

Only a sophomore, Cox has dominated her first two seasons as a Tiger with 704 kills and 132 blocks.
