Here's Where You've Seen The Cast Of "Welcome To Chippendales" Before

On Nov. 22, Hulu began airing the miniseries Welcome to Chippendales , which chronicles the fascinating true story of how Somen "Steve" Banerjee founded the Chippendales male strip show before a shocking fall from grace.

The eight-episode show will continue to be released through January 2023.

Kumail Nanjiani gives a strong performance starring as Steve in the jaw-dropping true crime miniseries. Here is where you may have seen him and his Welcome to Chippendales cast mates before their roles in the show.

Kumail Nanjiani

Kumail plays Steve Banerjee, who created Chippendales in the late '70s and experienced great success with this venture prior to an intense downward spiral.

From 2011 to 2014, Kumail portrayed Pindar Singh in Franklin & Bash . The Big Sick , a rom-com that Kumail starred in and wrote with his wife, Emily Gordon , provided another breakthrough role for the actor.

He also played Dinesh Chugtai in Silicon Valley , Stu in Stuber , and Kingo in the 2021 MCU film, Eternals .

Murray Bartlett

In Welcome to Chippendales , Murray plays Chippendales' choreographer, Nick de Noia. He and Steve face heated disagreements as the show takes off and the two have creative differences.

The performer began his career with roles in series such as Home and Away and E Street. He later played Cyrus Foley in the soap opera Guiding Light and appeared as James Whitney in the 2012 comedy Girl Most Likely .

You may also remember Murray from his portrayal of Armond in The White Lotus . His next project is The Last of Us , a TV adaptation of the video game that's set for release in 2023.

Annaleigh Ashford

Irene, an accountant who offers Steve financial advice for Chippendales, and starts a romantic relationship with the businessperson, is portrayed by Annaleigh. One of her most well-known roles to date is Betty DiMello in Masters of Sex , in which she starred in from 2013 to 2016.

In 2018, Annaleigh played Hildy Ostrander in Second Act , and she has also starred in series like American Crime Story and B Positive. An upcoming project of hers is a lead role in the horror thriller film, Dust .

Furthermore, Annaleigh is a Tony Award-winner and has performed in Broadway shows like Kinky Boots , You Can’t Take It with You, and Sylvia . Her next stage role is Mrs. Lovett in Sweeney Todd .

Dan Stevens

Dan portrays Paul Snider, a promoter that Steve recruits to help his business. After he begins working on building the Chippendales show with Steve, Paul murders his wife, Dorothy Stratten, before killing himself.

From 2010 to 2012, Dan appeared as Matthew Crawley in Downton Abbey . He later played characters like the Beast in the live-action iteration of Disney's Beauty and the Beast , Charles Dickens in The Man Who Invented Christmas , and David Haller in the series Legion . In addition, Dan may be recognized for starring in Eurovision Song Contest: The Story of Fire Saga , as well as the 2022 miniseries Gaslit .

In 2023, Dan can be seen in the horror film Cuckoo , and he will be leading the 2024 sequel to Godzilla vs. Kong .

Nicola Peltz

Nicola plays Dorothy Stratten, a Playboy model who makes important wardrobe suggestions for the Chippendales performers. Dorothy's husband, Paul, murders her following an argument at the end of the first episode of the miniseries.

Nicola is known for her roles as Bradley Martin in Bates Motel , Tessa Yeager in Transformers: Age of Extinction , and Felicity in Holidate . Aside from Welcome to Chippendales , her latest part is playing the titular role in Lola James , a yet-to-be-released indie drama film that was written and directed by the actor.

Chippendales fan-turned-costume designer Denise Coughlan is played by Juliette Lewis . Juliette has been acting since her early childhood and scored the breakthrough part of Audrey in National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation in 1989.

She continued to earn top Hollywood roles throughout the '90s and '00s in movies like Cape Fear , What's Eating Gilbert Grape , The Basketball Diaries, From Dusk Till Dawn , and Starsky & Hutch .

In 2013, Juliette starred as Karen Weston in August: Osage County . She later took on parts such as Detective Andrea Cornell in the crime drama series Secrets and Lies and Jandice in the comedy show Camping. Quentin Plair

Quentin plays Otis McCutcheon, a Chippendales performer who approaches Steve to learn more about his business methods. Before this part, Quentin scored roles like Miles in The Quad and Dallas in Roswell, New Mexico . Next up he'll portray Danny Kinkade in the series Tiny Beautiful Things , which is an adaptation of the novel by Cheryl Strayed.

Robin appears as Ray Colon, a handyman who forms a close bond with Steve, in Welcome to Chippendales .
