LAKEFRONT. PREPARATIONS UNDERWAY RIGHT NOW FOR THE 2023 MILWAUKEE AIR AND WATER SHOW, WHERE YOU CAN SEE THIS SUPER HORNET FLY OVER LAKE MICHIGAN. THE BLUE ANGELS MAKING THEIR ANNUAL WINTER SITE VISIT ON THURSDAY. FOR A PREVIEW OF THIS SUMMER’S AARON WATERS SHOW. THE PILOTS HOPE FOR AN EVEN BETTER WEEKEND THAN 2022 TO FOUR AS WE CONTINUE TO LEARN THIS’LL BE OUR THIRD SEASON WITH THE F-18 SUPER HORNET. SO, AGAIN, GREAT AIR SHOW HOPING FOR SOME MORE GREAT WEATHER. THE SUPER HORNET IS A NEWER PLANE WITH ALL THE BELLS AND WHISTLES. SUPER HORNETS, AN AMAZING AIRCRAFT. IT’S IT’S A LITTLE BIGGER, A LITTLE FASTER, A LITTLE LOUDER THAN THE LEGACY HORNET. THE AIR AND WATER SHOW A CRUCIAL EVENT FOR THE CITY AND SURROUNDING AREA. IT’S A HUGE ECONOMIC DRIVER FOR MILWAUKEE. MILWAUKEE COUNTY AND THE REGION AS A WHOLE. BUT IT’S REALLY AN AMAZING EXPERIENCE. THAT EXPERIENCE OPENED TO EVERYONE. YOU CAN GO DOWN TO THE LAKEFRONT AND NOT HAVE TO PAY A DIME. AS FOR THIS YEAR’S SHOW, THE BLUE ANGELS WILL BE READY TO BRING THEIR A-GAME. KICK IT OFF WITH SOME NARRATION, KIND OF GIVING YOU A LITTLE BIT OF THE HISTORY IN THE BACKGROUND OF THE BLUE ANGELS INTRODUCING THE TEAM. AND THEN HERE BEING A REMOTE SHOW OVER THE WATER. THE SIX DEMONSTRATION PILOTS WILL TAKE OFF HERE AND THEN THEY’LL ACTUALLY FLY OUT OVER THE WATER AND YOU’LL SEE THE DELTA FORMATION POINTED RIGHT AT THE CROWD. THE 19 IN THE ANNUAL MILWAUKEE AIR AND WATER SHOW RETURNS THE WEEKEND OF JULY 22ND AND JULY 23RD, 2023, IN MILWAUKEE, SIRIUS STANLEY WISN 12 NEWS. The stars of next year's Air & Water show made a special visit to Milwaukee on Thursday.Preparations are now underway for the 19th Annual Milwaukee Air & Water Show. The Blue Angels visited the 128th Air Refueling Wing for a winter site visit ahead of this summer's event. Pilots with the Blue Angels say they hope 2023 will be even better than 2022."We're tweaking a few things. This is the third season of the F-A Super Hornet," said U.S. Navy Lt. Cmdr. Thomas Zimmerman.The Super Hornet is a newer plane, with all the bells and whistles."The Super Hornet is an amazing aircraft, a little bigger, a little faster, a little louder than the legacy hornet," Zimmerman said.The Air & Water Show is a crucial event for the city and surrounding area."It's a huge economic driver for Milwaukee, Milwaukee County, and the region as a whole," said Guy Smith, executive director of Milwaukee County Parks.The 2023 Milwaukee Air & Water Show takes place July 22-23, 2023.
