Greetings, everyone, and thank you for watching. I am pleased to be able to share with you these acts of kindness that are encouraging and Making A Difference.
Here is a follow up on a Making A Difference commentary I did right before Veterans Day where I shared that over 450 cards were created for veterans by students from the Green Bay school district. Here are a few photos of veterans receiving their cards.
“Thanks so much to the students for making veterans feel as special as they deserve to feel each and every day,” said Kerry Moody from Curative Connections.
I, too, want to salute and say thank you to all those who participated in making this day so special.

Also, for the fourth year in a row, the West De Pere and De Pere school districts are partnering with local churches and businesses to put on the De Pere Christian Outreach Christmas store. Vulnerable and struggling families are able to shop for brand-new toys, clothing and household items at garage sale prices or for free. Student clubs and sports teams from De Pere and West De Pere schools will help move donations, set up and take down the store. This is a great option for those in need and who may be struggling this holiday season. The event is next Tuesday and Wednesday at First United Presbyterian Church in De Pere. I can share with you that they are still accepting new children’s clothing and monetary donations. You can stop by the First United Presbyterian Church in De Pere.
Let’s continue to encourage one another on toward acts of kindness. When you are aware of others demonstrating acts of kindness and helping others, take a few pictures and share the story with me so that we can recognize the acts of kindness being done throughout Northeast Wisconsin. Send me the story and photos to makingadifference@wluk.com.
Remember, look around, see a need and show kindness to another.
