Fans of The Mandalorian, you won’t have to wait too long to see Baby Yoda on your screens again.
The Disney+ show has already released a trailer for the third season, and has now followed up with a release date of March 1, 2023.
In the meantime, Disney has been supplying a huge selection of content for Star Wars fanatics, including The Book of Boba Fett, Obi-Wan Kenobi and Andor, with another series called The Acolyte in production. It’s Star Wars’ world, we’re just living in it.

Season two, of course, ended on a bit of a cliffhanger. Poor little Baby Yoda (Grogu, to be official), was finally saved after being captured by Dark Troopers, and in an emotional moment, the Mandalorian takes off his helmet to reveal his face to his protegée/pseudo-son for the first time. He then entrusts his care to none other than Luke Skywalker.
Previously, there had been some concern that Pedro Pascal, who plays the titular Mandalorian to ambiguous perfection, might not return for the third season, but these rumours were quickly tampered down.

The actor's stunt double, Brendan Wayne, took to Instagram after season two to assuage any worried fans about Pascal's presence: "No spoilers!!! But just in case the world didn't know yet Pedro Pascal is incredible. The journey they wrote for him this season was so beautiful. The fact that Pedro went beyond the page and made this epic. Thank you Pedro Pascal."
"Yes!! Pedro is coming back. There was never any question. DO NOT BELIEVE EVERYTHING YOU READ," he added.
What exactly is in store for Mando and other major characters is yet to be revealed, although the trailer suggests plenty of action, and crossover appearances from faves Greef Karga and Babu Frik.
March can't come soon enough.
The Mandalorian seasons 1-2 are streaming now on Disney+. Season 3 is due to air on March 1, 2023. Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker and the entire Skywalker Saga are available on DVD, Blu-ray and 4K now, as well as on Disney+.
