INDIANA’S LAST REMAINING WORLD WAR TWO VETERANS GATHERED TO HONOR THE FALLEN SOLDIERS AND CELEBRATE THEIR JOURNEYS, DECLARED AS THE MAGNIFICENT SEVEN, THE TEAM OF SEVEN MET UP TO CELEBRATE WHAT THEY CALL THEIR LAST HURRAH. THE NUMBER OF WORLD WAR TWO VETERANS IS DROPPING DAILY. LESS THAN 200,000 ARE STILL ALIVE. THAT’S OUT OF 16 MILLION AMERICANS WHO SERVED. LEO KITTEL, A SERGEANT IN THE US ARMY, IS AMAZED HE OUTLIVED HIS FATHER AT 98. I DIDN’T THINK I’D EVER MAKE IT AT HOME. YOU KNOW, THERE WAS NOT TOO MANY OF YOU. Some of Indiana's last living World War II veterans gathered to honor fallen soldiers and celebrate their journeys.Known as the "Magnificent 7," the team met up to celebrate what they called their last hoorah.The number of WWII veterans is dwindling daily. Less than 200,000 are still alive out of the 16 million Americans who served.Leo Kittle, a sergeant in the US Army, is amazed he's still alive."I didn't think I'd make it this old, you know, and being with this bunch. It's not too many of us left," the 98-year-old said.These seven veterans, in Dearborn County, Indiana, range from ages 95 to 99.

Leo Kittle, a sergeant in the US Army, is amazed he's still alive.

"I didn't think I'd make it this old, you know, and being with this bunch. It's not too many of us left," the 98-year-old said.

These seven veterans, in Dearborn County, Indiana, range from ages 95 to 99.
