Operation Homefront and Home Depot teamed up Thursday to do home repairs for a United States Navy veteran.
"It's amazing what can be accomplished in a short period of time when you get a bunch of people," said Andrew Ormond, a community captain with Home Depot.
"This is definitely one of those moments that you will not forget," said homeowner and U.S. Navy Veteran Amber Jackson.
The group replaced the patio and a storm door. There were roof repairs and landscaping work.
"We certainly need to provide the support and relief. They served our country and we're here to serve them," said A.J. Kahn, of Operation Homefront.
Operation Homefront said that when they all come together to help a veteran in need, it is a perfect fit.
"We recognize this family needed some household repairs and we stepped up to the task," Kahn said.
"It's really appreciated," Jackson said.
Operation Homefront has helped hundreds of military families with repairs dating back to 2002.
