“Everything’s going well” | Local Stennis test conductor gives Artemis I update

As far as NASA'S Artemis Mission goes, it's still all systems go. You might remember a few weeks ago when the SLS Artemis I blasted off into space with those four RS-25 engines that were tested at Stennis Space Center in Hancock County. One of those who were front and center at launch was Jack Conley.
Students from Long Leaf Elementary School in Hattiesburg took a field trip to IMMS Thursday to learn all about marine mammals. Teacher Susan Hamlett has been working with her second and third grade classes about marine life.
Players grabbed their paddles and took part in a pickleball exhibition in Biloxi this week. The open-play exhibition and senior health fair is a way to keep the aging population young and healthy.
During the commencement ceremony, students of Harrison, Jackson, and Perkinston campuses walked the stage and accepted well-earned degrees and certifications.
