Kansas City, Missouri, police are investigating a critical injury collision on Thursday.
Accident investigators are looking into the cause of the crash, which occurred near 19th and Hardesty Ave.
KCPD says an initial investigation revealed that a gold Ford F-150 was traveling southbound on Hardesty when, for reasons unknown, the Ford drove up over the curb on the west side of the roadway.
The Ford struck a fire hydrant, a light pole and sheared off an electrical pole before overturning.
The driver, the sole occupant of the Ford, was transported to a local hospital with critical injuries.
The driver of the Ford is currently in stable condition and the investigation is ongoing.
