A Macon woman was placed on hold for possession of a controlled substance after being stopped by Moniteau County deputies November 30.
According to a release from the Moniteau County Sheriff, deputies made a vehicle stop on Highway 50 near California, MO for an equipment violation.
The driver identified herself as a Crystal Weeks and said that she did not have her driver’s license with her.
The deputy could not find Crystal Weeks in the system, and upon further investigation, the driver was detained and later admitted that she had given the deputy false information and that her real name was Tanya L. Rodie, 35.
Upon running Rodie through the system, Rodie's name came back with three active warrants for her arrest.
While speaking to Rodie, deputies then asked if she had anything on her person before she was taken to the jail where she confessed that she had a pipe hidden on her body.
At the jail, a pipe containing methamphetamine was retrieved from Rodie and placed into evidence.
Rodie was recently placed on probation/parole for possession of a controlled substance. Rodie also had three active warrants for her arrest from other jurisdictions: one for no bond, one for $20,000 cash, and one for $25,000 cash.
She was placed on a hold for Moniteau County for possession of a controlled substance (meth).
