County thanks longtime county employee

LOCK HAVEN, PA – The Clinton County Commissioners on Thursday thanked and said goodbye to a longtime county employee. The county board presented a certificate of appreciation to Marie Hansel who has served the county for 26 years, most recently as fiscal operation supervisor with Children and Youth Services. The certificate thanks her for her “dedicated service.”

Her departure is effective Jan. 6.

The commissioners also approved a number of appointments to county agencies. They included the naming of Michael Frank, publisher/owner of The Record, as the county representative on the Clinton County Community Foundation board. He replaces Lana Muthler, editor emeritus of the Lock Haven Express.
