Ross Library announce upcoming programs

LOCK HAVEN, PA – The Ross Library is collecting donations for Roads To Peace throughout December. Roads To Peace, formerly the Clinton County Women’s Center, is in need of paper products, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, diapers, or trash bags. In December, anyone who donates these items at the library will be given a free sticker as a thank-you!

On the second Tuesday of every month at 6 PM, join the Ross Library for Adult Storytime. Each month, a volunteer will read a different short story to adults eighteen and up. Snacks will be provided. The next session will be on December 6th, which has been moved from the usual schedule due to a conflict. The story will be Pat McManus’s “The Christmas Hatchet.”

The “Saturday Crafternoon” programs for December will be scheduled on a different day because of the holidays. On December 17th at 12:30, the craft will be book page lilies. In January, the program goes back to the usual date. On January 28, the craft will be marbled mugs.

That’s a wrap! From 6 to 7:30 on Tuesday, December 20th, parents are invited to come to the Ross Library to wrap their presents in a peaceful and undiscovered location. Parents can use the supplied wrapping paper, or bring their own. Come sneak out of the house to wrap your holiday gifts in peace.

Author Guy Graybill will be discussing his books at the Ross Library at 2 PM on Saturday, December 3rd. Graybill, author of Pennsylvania history books such as Keystone and Prohibition’s Prince, will answer questions and autograph copies of his work.

On the first Monday of each month at 7 PM, an adult coloring session will be held in the Sloan Room. Participants are welcome to bring their own materials, or use the library’s. The next session will be held on December 5.
