Those hoping to spread some Christmas cheer have a chance to so by taking part in the 15th annual Toy Field event, sponsored by Cumulus Nashville, Hardee’s, and FOX 17 News.
Community members can take part in the Toy Field by bringing toys to Nissan Stadium on Tuesday, Dec. 6.
The purpose of this event is to provide Christmas presents for families in-need served by The Salvation Army's Forgotten Angels program.
The Forgotten Angels program ensures that "angels" who are not adopted from The Salvation Army's Angel Tree program will still receive gifts on Christmas morning.
The citizens of Nashville and its surrounding communities have been wonderful supporters of our Angel Tree program for 40 years, and we know that they will once again join with us to ensure the Miracle Moments of Christmas happen for all our Angel Tree families. Thanks to the support of Cumulus Broadcasting and our community, we know that every single one of our Angels will have gifts under the tree on Christmas morning,” said Captain Philip Canning.
The day of, donors are invited to bring toys to the Nissan Stadium from 6 a.m. - 6 p.m. Donations can be dropped off curbside along S. Second Street right by the stadium.
