Troubled Blood, Robert Galbraith’s 5th Cormoran Strike novel, is coming to BBC One in a 4 part adaptation starting on the 11th December at 9pm, and continuing on Monday 12th, Sunday 18th and Monday 19th.
(from robert-galbraith.com)

Tom Burke and Holliday Grainger returning. I saw a brief trailer earlier today. Looking forward to it.

Four parts to cover a 927 page book, a lot is going to be left out.

All the adaptations have left out a huge part of the books. You'd think they might have made them longer series.

The books are too long though and could have done with more editing.

I’ve given up with the latest book. Looking forward to this series though.

It was dreadful. And will be very hard to adapt.

Agreed. I found the “ chatroom” stuff difficult to follow and frankly tedious.

Atrocious book(s) but the TV adaptations have been pretty good so far so worth a look.

I enjoyed it as well, it was the first one I read having bought it as a special offer when it came out. I have since read all the others and enjoyed them all, perhaps being older I have a longer attention span than many on here.
