No matter what she wears, fans can't deny that Today show star Jenna Bush Hager has an eye for fashion. While she's known for stepping out in dresses, the TV personality caught viewers' attention when she decided to change things up a bit.
Earlier this month, Jenna and co-host Hoda Kotb surprised folks when they announced Today With Hoda and Jenna would have a live studio audience for one week only. To kick off the first day of festivities, which included catching up with former First Lady Michelle Obama, Jenna walked onstage wearing a subtle nod to 1970s fashion.
Donning a velvet burgundy suit with silver buttons on the blazer, the Sisters First author paired it with matching flared pants. To jazz up the outfit, the NBC co-anchor added a pair of red patented pumps. Tying the whole look together, she wore her blonde hair in a half-ponytail with pieces framing the face and kept her makeup natural.
When Today show fans noticed Jenna's style switch-up, they immediately got excited about it. Unsurprisingly, many raved about her suit when the show's official Instagram shared a photo from the first day of the in-person taping.

"No one has ever said those words!" she told us. "I think clothes are fun ... But I think it’s more fun to dress other people. [Hoda and I] don’t have our own stylist, we do our own thing."
