Richard Joseph Creamer, age 79, passed away on Sunday, November 20, 2022 at his home. He was born June 14, 1943 in Jeffersonville, OH to the late Roy Creamer and Madeleine Gregory Tanner. Richard proudly served his country in the United States Navy and was a Vietnam Veteran. He was a very proud Registered Nurse who was well respected in the medical community.
Richard was loved dearly by his family and siblings. He always gave as good as he got, and people always felt better after talking with him. Richard enjoyed traveling and the ocean, and he especially enjoyed visiting Virginia Beach. Richard loved spending time with his family at Virginia Beach and requested that his family return his cremated remains to the pier in Virginia Beach, where his family had previously taken his late wife, Rebecca.
Left to cherish his memory is his daughter; Lysa (Bill) Hunt, grandchildren; William (Lee) Riley of Columbus, OH, Eric Hunt of Greenup, KY, Timothy (Crystal) Hunt and 4 foster children of West Portsmouth, OH, Ryan Hunt USMC Marine stationed in Virginia, Kaycee (John Cooper) Hunt and expecting baby Kinsey Jo, great-grandchildren; Tanner (Hailey) Riley, Shelly Hunt, and Cameron Duncan, and great-great granddaughter; Stella Jo Riley, and other family members, Theron Creamer of Franklin Furnace, OH, Krysten (Clay) Munn, and Kyle Creamer.
In addition to his parents, Richard is preceded in death by his wife, Rebecca Lee Creamer.
There are no public funeral services scheduled.
