THE STOP IN HIS SMALL VILLAGE IS PART OF HIS FARM TOUR. AND KETV NEWSWATCH EVANS. CARL LARSON WAS THERE EARLIER TODAY AS THOUSANDS OF PEOPLE LINED UP FOR THE SHOW. COWS HERE NOW. JULIE, I’M SURE YOU CAN IMAGINE JUST HOW EXCITED PEOPLE WERE. A PRETTY BIG NAME AND A PRETTY SMALL TOWN. FANS SHOWED UP READY TO GO. FANS FLOOD THE FARM. WE LOVE LUKE BRYAN FOR LUKE BRYAN’S NEBRASKA STOP OF HIS 2022 FARM TOUR. IT’S AWESOME, MAN. YEAH, I MEAN, IT’S GOING TO BE FINE. FANS COMING OUT IN THOUSANDS TO MURDOCH, NEBRASKA. I THINK IT’S COOL FOR THE COMMUNITY. I THINK IT’S INTERESTING THAT HE’S SUPPORTING LIKE RURAL COMMUNITY AS WELL. GATES FOR THE EVENT OPENED AT 5 P.M., BUT PEOPLE STARTED LINING UP HOURS BEFORE THE PARKING LOT PACKED AND THE MUSIC LOUD. NASHVILLE BASED MUSICIAN JAMESON RODGERS KICKED OFF THE SHOW. THAT’S MY KIND OF NIGHT. THAT’S THE ONE I’M LOOKING FOR FOR TONIGHT. FOR MANY CONCERT GOERS, IT WAS THEIR FIRST TRIP TO THE CASS COUNTY TOWN. WHAT KIND OF KOREAN PEOPLE LIVING IN THE AREA SAY THEY’RE GRATEFUL BRYAN CHOSE THEIR HOMETOWN, HAS A VENUE. THIS IS A GREAT OPPORTUNITY FOR OUR COMMUNITY AND THE STATE OF NEBRASKA IN GENERAL, AN OPPORTUNITY TO SHOW THE STATE, THIS VILLAGE WITH A POPULATION OF UNDER 200 PEOPLE, CAN WELCOME OVER 10,000. TYPICALLY, YOU SEE CONCERTS, YOU KNOW, BIG VENUES, OMAHA, LINCOLN, AND THIS BEING IN MURDOCK. I THINK IT’S COOL TO SUPPORT LOCAL SMALL TOWN COMMUNITY. NOW, HOW COOL IS THIS? THE OWNER WHO OWNS THE FARM THAT HELD THE CONCERT, HE WAS AT WORK WHEN HE GOT A CALL ASKING HIM, DO YOU GROW ALFALFA BETWEEN LINCOLN IN OMAHA, THE CROPS OR A GRASS FIELD WHERE IT WERE A REQUIREMENT FOR THE TOUR AND THE YES LANDED HIM A LUKE BRYAN CONC
