A man was stabbed Thursday around 4:16 a.m. near W Kl Avenue in Oshtemo Township, according to the Kalamazoo County Sheriff's Office.
While driving to the scene, deputies said they were told the suspect was running from the scene on foot.
The Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety, Western Michigan Police, and other deputies, searched the area for the suspect.
A short time later, the suspect was located, arrested, and is being held at the Kalamazoo County Jail, deputies said.
The victim was treated by deputies and EMS with non-life threatening injuries, investigation shows.
There is no threat to the public's safety, deputies said.
Names are not being released at this time, according to the sheriff's office.
