Man repeatedly stabbed in Queens subway during rush hour; suspect sought

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Police are looking to identify a suspect accused of stabbing a man during a dispute inside a Queens subway station earlier this week.

At approximately 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, November 29, a 37-year-old man was approached by the suspect inside the Sutphin Boulevard subway station in Jamaica, and the two became engaged in a verbal dispute, which escalated into a physical encounter.

The suspect then stabbed the victim twice in the torso with an unknown object, before fleeing the scene to parts unknown.

The victim walked to Jamaica Hospital Medical Center and is listed in stable condition.

The suspect was last seen wearing a white hooded sweatshirt, a blue jacket, grey pants, black shoes and carrying a blue backpack.
