Crime Stoppers: Clumsy thief steals gun from Omaha pawn shop
A thief saw his opportunity to strike at an Omaha pawn show, and then followed it up with some quick talking.
Now there's another stolen gun out there.
The suspect was inside a pawn shop south of 24th and L streets — it was around 3:15 p.m. on Aug. 1.
When no one was around, he lifted the glass top and grabbed a gun — .44 caliber Super Redhawk Ruger.
The glass broke as he lifted it, alerting an employee who rushed over to the thief.
As he slipped the gun into his waistband, he told the clerk he'd put something on the counter and it shattered.
Investigators said he's about 5 feet, 9 inches tall, 175 pounds and he has noticeable tattoos on his arms.
They appear to say "Made in" on one forearm, and "America" on the other.

If your tip leads to an arrest, you could get a reward without any knowing who you are — and you might get a stolen handgun off the streets.
