Gas Prices Continue to Go Down

Gas prices are still high, but the downward trend continues. The average price for a gallon of gas nationwide is 11-cents less than last week, according to AAA, at $3.47.

Missouri is at $3.03; Tennessee’s average is a penny more. Arkansas has dipped below three-dollars at $2.98.

AAA reports SE Missouri is still higher than state’s average. Scott County is the highest at $3.31 – Pemiscot County is $3.19; Dunklin County’s average is about $3.10.

As has been the case for months, Greene County, Arkansas is the cheapest in the area at $2.70. The cheapest gas in West Tennessee is in Obion County at $2.85.
