Carson City family honors daughter by giving toys to sick kids this holiday season

CARSON CITY, Nev. (News 4 & Fox 11) —

A Carson City family is continuing a 10 year long tradition to honor a daughter they lost to brain cancer.

In 2012, Tiffani Barber was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer. It was during her treatment at Stanford Children’s Hospital that her and her sister Bailee had the idea to collect sealed toys for immuno-compromised children who were spending the holidays in the hospital. Bailee says that was just the way Tiffani was -- always willing to help others.
