A Carson City family is continuing a 10 year long tradition to honor a daughter they lost to brain cancer.

In 2012, Tiffani Barber was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer. It was during her treatment at Stanford Children’s Hospital that her and her sister Bailee had the idea to collect sealed toys for immuno-compromised children who were spending the holidays in the hospital. Bailee says that was just the way Tiffani was -- always willing to help others.

It came from this like deep passion to help people and give back even when she was like super sick.

It started small with just a handful of businesses collecting donations. Now with over 30 locations in the Carson City, Reno, and Douglas County area, the Barber family is able to give thousands of toys to kids.
