(WLUK) -- It's hard to imagine a much different end to November's weather, as compared to how we started it.
The final day of November brought a biting reminder that the coldest months of year are nearly upon us.
A few flurries whipped in winds of over 40 miles per hour Wednesday. Air temperatures never left the 20s -- though it felt more like 10 degrees with the wind.
This frigid surge is a stark contrast to how we started the month of November.
The month led off with three days of 70 degree highs in Green Bay, and we added a fourth on the 10th.
But you can only go so long before the cold air crashes the party.
From the 12th to the 22nd, each day saw below-average temperatures in Green Bay.
And after a bit of a rebound around Thanksgiving, that cold air has come surging back in to close the month.
And taking a peek ahead to the first week of December, despite maybe one day -- Friday -- being above normal, the chilly air looks like it's sticking around for the time being.
