A fire at a PSE&G power station in Teaneck left thousands of customers without power.

The power station was located off Palisade Avenue. It was not immediately clear what started the fire.

Crews had to assess the damage and attempted to restore the power.

The outage was in addition to outages across the state caused by bad weather on Wednesday.
