Two kids & three adults dead in Buffalo Grove after Illinois police forced their way inside home and found five bodies
TWO kids and three adults have been found dead in an Illinois home as police investigate a possible murder-suicide.
Police discovered the victims on Wednesday morning at around 11.12am after responding to the home for a welfare check.
When they got to the house, police couldn't get in contact with anyone and had to force their way inside.
They did a sweep of the home and found the bodies of the two children and three adults.
They were reportedly checking in on an unidentified woman after a welfare check was requested.
Sources told WGN9-TV that the incident was a murder-suicide but cops have yet to say what led up to the deaths.

All five victims were pronounced dead at the scene, NBC 5 Chicago reports.
A husband, wife, and two young children lived in the home, a neighbor told WGN.
The neighbor said: "We would see the kids playing about. They would have friends and family gatherings.
"Nothing too out of the ordinary, so it’s a big shock to have all this occurring, especially during this time of the year."
An initial investigation revealed the incident was domestic in nature, cops said.
There is no threat to the public, though authorities have not confirmed whether the killings were a murder-suicide.
The victims have not been publicly identified as police are working to inform next-of-kin.
The cause and manner of death are also being investigated, and an autopsy is scheduled for Thursday.
The Lake County Major Crime Task Force is assisting in the investigation.
Buffalo Grove is located about 30 miles northwest of downtown Chicago.
