Tonight's Coronation Street (November 30) saw Summer Spellman struggle as she continued to hide the news of her miscarriage from couple Mike and Esther.

As viewers will remember, Summer promised to give her baby away to Mike and Esther after she and Aaron decided they weren't ready to become parents. However, Summer tragically lost the baby but has been unable to tell the couple, who are currently paying for Aaron's dad Eric's rehab costs.

Struggling with how to keep Eric in treatment, Summer also had to face an excited Mike and Esther who came to visit in order to discuss plans for her to move in.

As Esther and Mike visited Summer at the flat to discuss moving plans, Aaron urged her to tell the couple that she'd changed her mind.

However, as Esther touched her stomach, things got too much for Summer who, scrambling to keep up with the lie, demanded that she stop. "I'm sorry... I need some air," she said before rushing out of the flat.

Later on, Aaron and Summer reflected on the situation, admitting that they're struggling to keep the lie up. "I know I said I could do this for as long as it takes, but they're good people," she said.

Aaron suggested taking his dad out of rehab and bringing him home to look after so they would no longer have to lie, but Summer didn't seem sure on the idea. "He needs time for the treatment to work," she insisted.

Back at the flat, Mike and Esther apologised for the earlier incident, telling Summer there wasn't any pressure to move in with them and that they just wanted what was best for the baby. "I'm a terrible person," an upset Summer said after the couple left.

"I just hope my dad appreciates it someday," Aaron replied.

Will they be able to come clean before it's too late?
