The deadline is approaching to submit nominations for a prestigious award that the YWCA Rock County has been doling out for 48 years.
Since 1975, more than 250 individuals and organizations have been honored with the YWCA Rock County’s Women of Distinction and Young Women of Distinction Awards.
Communications Director Kari Dray says nominations for this year’s awards are due on January 23rd.
The event recognizes women, young women and businesses or organizations who serve as outstanding role models for others in Rock County.
Dray says award winners will be honored during a gala on May 10th at 5:30 p.m. at the Glen Erin Golf Club.
