INDEPENDENCE, La. — Authorities say five people were arrested in connection with an early morning shooting in Tangipahoa Parish that left one man dead on Wednesday. According to the Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff's Office, the shooting happened at a home on Crossover Road in the early morning hours of Jan. 18.
