VEGAS (November 30, 2022) - Vegas Golden Knights General Manager Kelly McCrimmon announced today, November 30, the following roster transaction: the team has acquired future considerations from the Carolina Hurricanes in exchange for defenseman Zack Hayes.

Hayes, 23, appeared in 14 AHL games for the Henderson Silver Knights this season and collected one assist. The defenseman made his NHL debut with the Golden Knights in Winnipeg in March and played in a total of three contests with Vegas. Prior to his time with the organization, Hayes spent parts of five seasons in the WHL with the Prince Albert Raiders.
