how about the insurance on the pickup he was in? if the courts now decide that parking lots are dangerous places and owners can be sued that puts property owner as liable for the stupid stuff someone does while there. not fair to them, and the guilty party doesn't have any responsibility/repercussions for their actions

Don't forget to sue the truck maker because the truck had a truck bed. And the metal workers who made the metal. What state did the metal come from. Sue that state. So ridiculous. Teach your kids to not fool around. Parents should be sued by the school district for not raising her kid to be responsible.
